LLC “University of Maritime Practice and Arctic Tourism” (UMP&AT) is a Russian educational and tourism company registered in Naryan‑Mar, Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Founded in 2022 as a continuation of the “Sea Practice” expedition and education centre, UMP&AT develops services in the Arctic and Antarctica for scientific research and tourism Its programmes combine professional training for maritime and hospitality specialists with polar expeditions on sailing ships such as Kruzenshtern, Sedov and Pallada .The university collaborates with the Russian Antarctic Expedition and assists entrepreneurs and government bodies in developing maritime and tourism industries in polar regions .Established in Naryan‑Mar in 2022, it launched an Antarctic expedition service at Bellingshausen station in 2024 UMP&AT’s mission is to support research, education and sustainable tourism through projects that offer scientific expeditions, additional training programs, and career‑guidance initiatives for the maritime sector The organisation’s principles emphasise international cooperation, environmental protection, scientific value, long‑term observations and reliable partnerships
